This is a little protest song about the massive 2009 Democratic Federal 'Bailout/Stimulus' spending bills that have been rammed down the throat of every American while ignoring the will of at least half of us.

Funky Alternative Blues Rock with an acoustic Guitar and Harp. This CD is a completely solo effort written, performed, produced and mixed in my own home studio
I’m just a working guy that loves to play music. Did some writing and recording in 2007 & ’08 and here are some of the results. I do a solo acoustic bit locally now and haven’t played in bands for awhile but who knows what's next. I’m always open to new stuff. I wrote, play all of the instruments and sing the songs that you’re hearing. Also mixed and produced them in my home studio. Still compiling enough original material to fill up a CD but I’ll soon be there. So much music and so little time! I know there are a lot of folks out there that are making music but not that many that do the entire thing. For this CD I really wanted it to be a TRULY SOLO effort! Anyway, I hope these tunes will keep you listening! Enjoy! All the Best- Acoustic Alternative Pat

Story behind the song
As I watched the 2009 Democratic inauguration with the wacked out musicians prancing around on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial I was thoroughly ashamed of what I saw. I remember that it felt like being at a victory party celebration for the opposing team, wondered how we got there and how I could shrink away from it without anyone seeing me. After this very public spectacle, I can only hope that whatever else happens in the next few years that we can again regain our dignity and respect as Americans in the eyes of rest of the world.
Lyrics
It was one hell of a party The fans were going wild Their team had won the big one Annoying me all the while I wondered how I got here And I made this observation That I didn’t want no part of it And there wasn’t no mistaking That I’m disaffected I’m not mad and I’m not blue I’m just disaffected Are you disaffected too? You are here and here is there Now where did you want to go? Well I look to find it on the map but The route, there isn’t shown You ask can we get out of here I don’t understand your sense of pride And I’m just a little sick and tired Of all the doublespeak and lies Just one in 49 percent On the outside- looking in Disgusted with the crooks and thieves But the negative never wins Well you sure as hell do make it hard To see things as you do But I know I’ll find another way And recover from this too Cause I’m disaffected No, I’m not mad and I’m not blue I’m just disaffected Are you disaffected too? You are there and there is here And where did you want to go? Well I look to find it on the map but The route, there isn’t shown You ask can I get out of here I don’t understand this sense of pride and I’m just a little sick and tired Of all the doublespeak and lies
