But if you ask me, I'm not really like anything, sometimes I'm silly, sometimes I rock hard, sometimes I write love songs. I used to think I had it all figured out, I know now I was wrong. But I will say that my music excites me more than anything else in my life, so just maybe it will excite you as well.

Story behind the song
I have no license, so I can't drive these days. That means when I get dropped off to go to my current job, it's my one chance to search for another. 3 times now I have walked about 3 miles in both directions down the road applying at every place I can find, LITERALLY. Gas stations, fast food, automobile companies, EVERYWHERE. I have not gotten one call back and it's been 3 weeks. So you could say I'm truly feeling the effects of this recession. This inspired me to write a song about two lovers who are literally about to starve to death if the male can't find work. I wrote it from the perspective of the male, who basically ends with the sentiment that he will make sure if they have to die that he does not go first, so that his lover can feel his love is with her until the end.

You had me at the first guitar hook, in about two seconds flat. And man, those vocals are brilliant. The production practically sparkles. The only word I can use is talent. You have a lot of it. Never, ever give up. There's a place for you, and I hope you find it.

Awesome tune!! I listened about 20x...really grows on you. This brilliant young performer and composer is one of Sounclicks finest for sure with his ability to mix Pop themes with great traditional Rock and Roll soul. His impeccable performances and ever growing production skills shows that this artist has what it takes to take on the challenges of today and tomorrows music industry.
