I believe that music whether good or worse is still music as long as you don't steal it from somebody's work. And make sure that when you borrow songs, always give credit to the artist. All of my songs are compilations of my compositions from 1992 - present (all songs were originally influenced by rock/rock ballad/alternative/underground type of music). All songs & music, except for the cover songs, was written, composed, arranged and digitally mixed by me using instruments, computer and the internet.
