Story behind the song
Since I wasn't expecting them to play it this morning, I failed to put on the recorder in time and thus the audio clip misses the first 2 callers. The first loved it, and voted it as a keeper, just that he would prefer it to play faster. The second voted it fot it NOT to be a keeper, since he felt it needed more bass and needs to play faster. Of all the rest of people who called in (in the audio clip), one said to "trash it" (i.e. don't keep it in the testbin) because the bass was so low to him it didn't sound finished to him. Overall, I know I need to work at it more. Harshrealm was an old track that I sent it a while now (same time as "Rhyme Mangler"). The complaints are the same so far: volume levels on the cd need to be raised, bit slow, and sounds unfinshed. I can live with the speed but I knew back then that I needed to work at the levels and quality. Hopefully this shows in later tracks like "Mind Grinder" and "Battlearama". I think I have Mind Grinder or Wolf Winter up next on my CD for the bin. Peace.
