Story behind the song
My little baby was crying and I started to sing to him. The words and music came so naturally and in a few minutes my baby was asleep. I went out of his room and quickly wrote down a draft version of the song. For few years it has been our magic song as every time I'd start singing, my little boy would stop crying. It was his lullaby almost every night. Later I rearranged the words and recorded the music with two different singers. This version is a recording with Gemma Louise Edwards. Both recordings reached semi-finals in UK Songwriting Contest (2005 and 2009).
