The journey of dual yin-yang that is love.
Compilation of solo and collaborative works from Studio122 in Watonga, Oklahoma.
Story behind the song
Believe it or not. this song actually was constucted to have an equivocal dual meaning. I pondered the thought of being in the shoes of a somewhat schizophrenic frame of love one night. Being as it was that I understood firsthand by raw experience the serene "I could look into your eyes forever" bliss feelings that can be love as well as the tortuous hell of it all turning sour then into pure freeing hatred, thus, the logical ending to love as well as the song. This is my musical and lyrical anthem to a journey through love's heaven and hell. Part of the song is truly sung heartfelt as more of a sentimental uptempo ballad tone is what I was after while the last half is sung in a more sarcastic tone with the same chorus then implying a more darker tone when in context of what is sung and how it is sung in the previous verses with the repitive crashing cymbals representative of a chaotic trials of thought in the court of the mind holding the bad in a repetitive deathgrip.
Lyrics
And In the night
when I hold you tight
I feel everything
will be alright
I hope you know
That I love you so...
so much
I didn't see the
things I did
every little do
you see and say
bound by our souls
we're tripping home
All these things
are swept aside
in the heat of the night
you lash at me
I unleash on you
I could never ever let you go
With your mind and body as pure as the snow
I could never ever let you go
my deathgrip wraps around your throat
And In the night
when I hold you tight
I feel everything
will be alright
I hope you know
That I love you so...
sooo much
and in me
la de de de
la de de de
la de de de de de de
bound by our souls
we're tripping home
all these things
are swept aside
in the theat of the fight
you unleash on me
I unleash on you
