When you think of modern day southern rock n roll, the band that is going to come everyone’s mind is the State Line Mob.Their bluesy-country southern rock, guitar weaving line-up is a Southern image that’s hard to forget. The band was formed in 2007 by vocalists/songwriters Phillip Crunk and Dana Crunk. They both previously played for years in different bands, while cutting their teeth in some of the south’s most dangerous and run down honkytonk-taverns, where they learned the true meaning of southern grit and tough determination.

Story behind the song
This song was written about the 1970 Dodge Charger(General Lee) car I once owned,an American Beauty.I was inspired to write this song after purchasing the 70 model Charger. The purchase came a year later after the horrible loss of my first 1969 Dodge Charger (General Lee) car due to a fire on the Al/Tn state line. The song was meant to honor anyone owning a Dodge Charger or anyones pride & joy of owning an American Muscle Car.
