The little blue planet
Is once again at it
But how can inhabitants think
Their noise and commotion
Could affect cosmic oceans
When their species will soon be extinct
In the deep throat of space
It’s the flawed human race
That causes Creation to choke
With their posturing and vanity
Displays of insanity
It’s really all mirrors and smoke

And they celebrate Time, which doesn’t exist
Leave no Space for reflection, they’d rather resist
The fierce primal urges to turn to the stars
Though they flatter themselves they’ve a toehold on Mars
They think they’re superior, but really, they’ve had it
There’s little hope left for the little blue planet
But I’ve heard that the earth
From the time of its birth
Still has the power to beguile
It has no predecessor
As Infinity’s jester
And causes its Maker to smile
