Singer/songwriter, recording artist, multi-instrumentalist, producer, arranger, and recording engineer. Record releases by IRL Records & Otter River Records.
I currently perform as a solo artist and singer/songwriter. All of my recordings were recorded, mixed, and produced from start to finish in my home studio. My original songs are somewhat eclectic but I would generally categorize them as a fusion of rock, blues, folk/country, funk, and jazz.

Story behind the song
Too many times we make unwise decisions due to listening to other peoples opinions and their influences. When we listen and follow what our hearts tell us, we almost always chose the right way. This song is about trusting your own inner voice instead of depending on someone else for an answer.
Lyrics
(VERSE 1) When I was just a young boy - and still believed in dreams A dancer or a doctor - I could be anything 'Till demolition experts- started telling me All the things - in my life - I could never be When I was just a young boy - so unafraid to dream With innocence and wonder - I'd try most anything But somehow growing older - took away my steam "Till fear had left me frozen - without a voice to sing (CHORUS) Listen to your one and only heart See all of the wonder in every part Of dreams that can come true when you believe in you Listen to your heart! (VERSE 2) Now that I am older - I have tremendous dreams Compassion for each other - and every living thing Can't we all just get along? There's no need to fight Illuminate the dark side - with a brilliant light Now that I am wiser world peace is my dream My conviction is burning - I'll do anything To overcome all hatred - to rid the world of war I must fulfill my mission - that's what I'm living for (DOUBLE CHORUS)
