Morticia's Chair has gone through many changes in it's seven years of existence. The present trio, has been playing together for 3 years, blending Rock and Traditional styles into it's own blend of original music. Founded by Guitarist/Vocalist Mark K., it's filled out on the Bass by Jesse Kramer and Percussionist Dave Alexy. The band is sometimes accompanied by a long guest list of musicians playing various instruments. The band also performs unplugged versions of their songs and is always looking for unusual venues. Morticia's Chair plays in many of the local Cleveland concert clubs accompanying bands of many different genres. In 2004, the band was voted best Goth/Industrial band in Cleveland by The Cleveland Free Times. Mark K. states that they are as Goth as Johnny Cash, preferring the label of Gothic Americana.
