The Walls Came Crashing Down
A little modern allegory to contemporary events
Just a middle-aged guy who's been carrying song ideas around in his head for years and has decided to learn the craft and hopefully produce something decent eventually
Story behind the song
A modern-day fairy tale came to me under the pressure of the FAWM Challenge. Mark cleaned it up, musicated it, and the results are presented for your enjoyment.
Lyrics
The Walls Came Crashing Down
Little Red Riding Hood was dressed for fun
She was all tramped up in blue and white
The Three Little Pigs wined and dined her
They got her good and drunk that night
Naughty Red Riding Hood jumped up on the bar
Started grinding for those horny swine
They all were stuffing tips into her basket
That rider was dancing on a gold mine
We were all dancing when the walls came crashing down
All our piggy friends were passed out on the ground
We thought we were safe with our piggies all around
But sure enough, the walls came crashing down
The Big Bad Wolf cruised by the piggys pad
Heard the sounds come from inside
He peeked through the window, saw those happy laughing pigs
Drunk, fat and preoccupied
It aint hard to guess what a Big Bad Wolf would do
While Riding Hood was rolling in the hay
That Big Bad Wolf he huffed and then he puffed
And he blew that house of cards away
We were all dancing when the walls came crashing down
All our piggy friends were passed out on the ground
We thought we were safe with our piggies all around
But sure enough, the walls came crashing down
Bridge~
Fairy tale cops locked the whole crew up
Little Hood lost all her tips and had to stay in jail
While those pigs just grabbed some blackberries and kept on digging in
And waited till their uncle paid the bail
We were all dancing when the walls came crashing down
All our piggy friends were passed out on the ground
We thought we were safe with our piggies all around
But sure enough, the walls came crashing down
