I am a solo artist, creating smooth jazz, electronica, dance, new age, and ambient soundscapes.
Take the smooth jazz of David Lanz, the soundscapes of Mark Isham, and the broad musical palette of Prince, and you have a general idea of the madness I have put together on this page of music. Jump in, and enjoy... it's all for you, with more to come!

Story behind the song
This is a tough song to perform - it's a little too biographical. Once I stop crying, I'll tell you it is a fully arranged ballad, electric piano, drums, bass...enjoy...*snif* It came together in just 3 days - the music was just a silly little (it seemed) piano riff that happened while I was working on something else.
Lyrics
(In The End) I Still Believe Words and Music by Anthony L. Smith I watched her leavin' Even held the door She wouldn't say anything... Hey, what are fools for? Everyone but me knows She's gone for good I couldn't tell the difference I guess I never could Sometimes I hear her Calling me It's not that I want to It's not what I need These silent moments Memories like a drug How do I keep this Swept under the rug? (Chorus) I've been burned before Love walked out that door 'Been afraid to feel anymore But in the end, I still believe I've been a fool once more She don't want me anymore Tore me apart, broken to the core But in the end I still believe (Verse 2) Over and over This cycle repeats Feels like I'm fallin' Like I lost my feet Call out in the darkness There's no one there As if she's listening As if she cares Break the silence Scream her name Tell her I'm serious It's not a game But she won't hear me She never does She has forgotten Who I ever was.... (Chorus) I've been burned before Love walked out that door 'Been afraid to feel anymore But in the end, I still believe I've been a fool once more She don't want me anymore Tore me apart, broken to the core But in the end I still believe © 2002 - Words and music by Anthony L.
