Jasmadonic is a minimalist electrofunk band from the Midwest United States, focused on abstract concepts expressed through looped funk and new wave beats, with lyrics about politics, spirituality, sexuality, esotericism, and other cosmic happenstance. We don't use "Fruity Loops" or other software or flash application to make our music- we have two real keyboard players and they can funk the shit out of a repeated riff thats in the pocket. We all play by ear, we all sing on key, we write our own lyrics, and we don't oversing the melodies.
