Story behind the song
Lyrically this song started out about a suicide I learned about at one of the parks I worked at that's on Lake Ontario. From there I just made it about the mindset of someone determined to end their life. Musically it ended up sounding very country folky ala Blackie & The Rodeo Kings, who I've always been a fan of. The slide playing is definitely Colin Linden inspired
