Story behind the song
When we're young we are all different people in many ways. When I was young I was not the person I am now, I was possessive, neurotic and often violent. I wrote this song for my ex-wife, who I treated rather badly - Sam Hazzard.
Lyrics
A stolen glance at strangers passing by.
The friendship passed between by meeting eyes.
A look to raise,
blood boiling from within.
Hidden rage,
she'd better hide again.
She hates me.
She hates me.
She hates me and I should know why
She hates me, I never,
meant to make her cry.
Wrong number on your phone, I'm asking why.
Missed call, someone needing you tonight.
Enough to raise,
blood boiling from within.
Hidden rage,
she'd better hide again.
She hates me.
She hates me.
She hates me and I should know why.
She hates me, I never,
meant to make her cry.
Was all in my head.
I never meant the things I said to her.
Never meant to raise my hands to her.
An ambush laid in wait, my gift to you.
Your face, it tells me, now I know the truth.
Its not a game,
another day has passed.
Trying to stay,
but again rage takes my hand.
She hates me.
She hates me.
She hates me and I should know why.
She hates me, I never,
meant to make her cry.
Was all in my head,
I never meant the things I said to her.
Never meant to raise my hands to her.
(I swear she hates me)
