Story behind the song
I wrote this song after patiently and dutifully enduring years of frustration trying to find success in the corporate world. Eventually, I finally had something of an epiphany: I was created to do something other than to seek financial security. Embracing this idea meant turning my back on most of the advice I'd taken throughout life (which wasn't hard since none of it ever worked for me). Following through with seeking my own path has bought me more than a few awkward and skeptical looks from family and friends, but as the words of the song state: "I gotta have faith."
