I had come to a point in my hip hop production where convention had gotten boring, so I recorded a guitar loop that was in 4/3 time, purposely paused and threw in some extra notes to really fuck things up, then put it to a 4/4 beat that was musically very eclectic. This was at the same time that I was writting lyrics about how humankind makes little sense. The two just naturally fit together. This is one of my favorite tracks because it is one of the few tracks that turned out 100% like what I pictured it to sounding like in my head. I get goosebumps everytime I hear it's haunting melodies, broken drum breaks, and experimental sounds.
