Story behind the song
A few days ago when I was 'crate diving' for stuff to mix I came across a DJ Icey album that I hadn't heard in a long time. And when I was listening to it, I remembered that he helped bring Baby Anne up. So once I was done with him I moved over to her stuff. During this time I browsed through all of my D&B/Breakbeat stuff and that's where the initial spark came. Fueling my desire to make something beat-centric and in the classic style of it. Since I usually tend to be abstract with my stuff what I did here was go with D&B-like beats, but tried to keep the bass parts minimum. Instead shooting for smoother pads and keys (Chill-out/Ambient/Trance). To me this song is like Enigma meets Dieselboy or somethin like that. The name comes from how our bodies interact with the music and is because of the way the Drums & left-iso bass made me feel. I just thought- heartbeat, drums, floor shaking speakers... BAM, Blood Pressure. Well all, I hope yall dig this authentic Florida banger, DV style. Later on!
