Lyrics
Chasing the Wrong Dream On a wintry Sunday morning The church bells rang He stood at the window His breath against the pane Watched her drive off Knowing he's to blame Chorus: He's been chasing the wrong dream thought he could hold on to them all but the painful truth cuts clean He's lost the one that meant the most Cause he's been chasing the wrong dream He has a fancy title an impressive address racks of designer clothes are proof of his success But he's starting to realize inside he's a mess Chorus: He's been chasing the wrong dream thought he could hold on to them all but the painful truth cuts clean He's lost the one that meant the most Cause he's been chasing the wrong dream Bridge: He's walking, running, toward the traffic light Knocking on her window Tears overcoming his pride Chorus: I've been chasing the wrong dream thought I could hold on to them all but the painful truth cuts clean I've lost the one that meant the most Cause I've been chasing the wrong dream Music © 2009 Ian Ferrin Words © 2008 Rebecca Dale Peaden (BMI)

I have always loved Chasing The Wrong Dream...6 + months later, all I have to do is think of the words and the tune is there instantly...(howbeit I still think you should keep it in the original style/genre as the worktape :D ) and not go country. best Kaley
