NOTE: I've added some piano "instrumental only" songs on my music page. They are labeled as Piano in the title. Most are located towards the bottom of the page. Hi everyone! I'm a 49 year old part-time musician/songwriter with several years of various experiences. My ultimate goal is to have some songs published and recorded. All recordings of the songs were recorded with a simple cassette tape recorder. I'll try to keep the "News" section updated as things develop.

Lyrics
How Life Would Change Copyright © 2008 David Derbes Verse My car broke down I was at the bus stop the sun was shining and it was hot Oh what a day, oh what a way. to find oneself in the state that I’m in I had no idea where to begin. Or what to say, not a typical day Little did I know how life would change when she pulled up at my side with her door wide open! Chorus We took two right turns went through a red light. she said hold on tight for the ride of your life. and she took me to another world. Her hair flew around in its golden brown the car top down as we fled town as she took me to another world. Little did I know how life would change. (maybe add “how life would change) Verse We passed the law on the interstate there went my chance for a great escape. Lord what a day, oh what a day. We climbed a mountain then a dirt road. she seemed happy that i was her load. yeah, what a day, not a typical day. Little did I know how life would change when she pulled up at my side with her door wide open! Repeat Chorus Bridge Then we reached our destination, to a quiet home in isolation. She led me through her door. I knew what was in store. and to this day, I never looked back. Final Chorus We took two right turns, to her place of night. She said hold on tight for the ride of your life and she took me, to another world. Her hair flew around in its golden brown, the sun shined in and it went down as she took me, to another world. Little did I know, how life would change.
