Story behind the song

As this song was being written, my son's childhood friend was brutally murdered. This once little boy, who was so full of love, and grew up in my house and was now gone forever.

Even in life's darkest moments, the new dawn is inevitable.

An incredible journey into a rock opera type of song and a demonstration of extreme musicianship. Beautiful progressions and harmonies , almost an out of body experience where time is stopped. I never heard such a beautiful piece of music in my life. A true masterpiece.
