Truly great old-style gospel and certainly Christian singers (singas!) from the Denver metropolitan area.
This band showcases some incredibly talented Denver singers on two CD's, Mommy sings God's Love Vol 1 and Old School Church Vol 1. Instrumental music is mostly by keyboardist Chuck Abernethy, who produced the CD's. MSGLV1 was released in Dec., 2008. OSCV1 was released in Sept., 2004.

Story behind the song
These ladies went beyond duty to send some praises up to God. They harmonize with each other so well. Amazing. There is a very whinsical "synth/organ" prominant in the instrumental background. Remember, all 10 instumental background tracks are included on the CD, Mommy Sings God's Love - Vol. 1 from EnsembleMgmt.com
Lyrics
lyrics and music (as sung) by Alex Bradford on the flip side of his 78rpm recording, “Too Close” I Don’t Care What the World May Do Intro (a full Chorus) Chorus (Note: Lead vocal anticipates lyrics in a “call and response” style) Hallelujah! Glory, hallelujah. I’m going to praise His name. Hallelujah! Glory, hallelujah. ‘Gonna let His praises ring. Everyday walking by my side, my every step He’ll guide. I don’t care what the world may do. I’m gonna praise His name. Verse 1 Everyday while I’m walking along. I know I’m in His care. Jesus is walking with me, while my friends and enemies stare. How can I be angry, when my God abides within? I, I, I don’t care. I’m going to praise His name. Chorus Verse 2 Trouble I don’t mind no more, since I’m in the fold. Satan can’t harm me now, (because) God has control. As I walk through the shadow of death. There’ll be my God, Himself. I, I, I don’t care. I’m going to praise His name. (optional lyrics: I won’t have to fear, I’m gonna praise His name.) Chorus Chorus (END)
