Truly great old-style gospel and certainly Christian singers (singas!) from the Denver metropolitan area.
This band showcases some incredibly talented Denver singers on two CD's, Mommy sings God's Love Vol 1 and Old School Church Vol 1. Instrumental music is mostly by keyboardist Chuck Abernethy, who produced the CD's. MSGLV1 was released in Dec., 2008. OSCV1 was released in Sept., 2004.

Don't forget to purchase the Mommy Sings God's Love CD and get all 10 instrumental background tracks included. Info. at www.EnsembleMgmt.com This was Bobbies song from the beginning of the vision. We had fun with the dulcimer and music box sounds. We hope all the children are blessed.
Lyrics
lyrics: Johnson Oatman, Jr. (1856-1922). – music: Edwin O. Excell (1851-1921) tune: BLESSINGS, 11 11 11 11 with refrain Count Your Blessings Intro (Like the first and last lines of a verse) Verse 1 When upon life's billows you are tempest tossed, When you are discouraged thinking all is lost, Count your many blessings, name them one by one, And it will surprise you what the Lord has done. Verse 2 Are you ever burdened with a load of care? Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear? Count your many blessings, ev'ry doubt will fly, And you will be singing as the days go by. Chorus Count your blessings, Name them one by one; Count your blessings, See what God has done. Count your blessings, Name them one by one; Count your many blessings, See what God has done. (Modulation) Verse 3 When you look at others with their lands and gold, Think that Christ has promised you His wealth untold; Count your many blessings, money cannot buy Your reward in heaven, nor your home on high. Verse 4 So, amid the conflict, whether great or small, Do not be discouraged, God is over all; Count your many blessings, angels will attend, Help and comfort give you to your journey's end. Chorus (Modulation) Chorus (END)
