Hi all! My name is Geoff Ng and I love writing songs and playing guitar. I love all different genres of music, but folk music for me taps into the dark, the light, and most often the gray areas in someone's life - especially my own. As a result my music is a representation of who I am and what my values are. Sometimes I try to hard to create awesome melodies and lyrics, but being simple works the best for me. Story behind the song
I wrote this song to deal with the realization that I was no longer in a relationship with this girl who I still love. In this song I want to be saved from the mind-frame that hope is lost just b/c I am no longer in a relationship. However, I do come to realize that I can find myself through the wreckage.
