I love music. I've been playing guitar since I was 10 years old and along the way I sang everything from old folk songs to rock and blues.Today I make a living playing a mix of Folk/Bluegrass and Celtic music venues around the US. I write a lot of the music I sing and I play banjo, guitar and harmonica. I have endorsement from Larrivee Guitars.

Story behind the song
Annie Laurie is a very old Scottish folk song that is reputed to be based on poem by William Douglas (in early 1700s). The song was very popular in the US at the time of the Civil War and has been a favorite of generations
Lyrics
Maxwelton's braes are bonnie, Where early fa's the dew, 'Twas there that Annie Laurie Gave me her promise true. Gave me her promise true - Which ne'er forgot will be, And for bonnie Annie Laurie I'd lay me down and dee. Her brow is like the snaw-drift, Her neck is like the swan, Her face it is the fairest, That 'er the sun shone on. That 'er the sun shone on - And dark blue is her e'e, And for bonnie Annie Laurie I'd lay me down and dee. Like dew on gowans lying, Is the fa' o' her fairy feet, And like winds, in simmer sighing, Her voice is low and sweet. Her voice is low and sweet - And she's a' the world to me; And for bonnie Annie Laurie I'd lay me down and dee.
