It only takes one guitar to make a song. But two guitars make it better.

Folk acoustic and electric with a hint of Dylan thrown in.
I've been singing folk and rock since 1962 and have been in numerous groups, the latest being Ghost River, a bluegrass/folk band. The songs here represent work with a number of different musicians and family members over a number of years.

Story behind the song
The lead guitar, on the left, is a Sigma SE-1N Acoustic/Electric and the harmony guitar, on the right, is an Alvarez MF80C Acoustic/Electric. Both guitars were purchased yesterday in a pawn shop here in Memphis. Both are good instruments. The song is an instrumental I've been playing around with. The Sigma was purchased for a friend, Steve Arender, from Mountain View, AR, and he wanted to hear what both guitars sounded like. Both instruments were recorded plugged straight into a Ross 4X4 cassette recorder, one track each, panned left and right at 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock, and then mixed straight into the computer using dbPoweramp Auxillary Input. No reverb or compression and no noise reduction. Therefore, there is a little tape noise. So, that's the story.
