I was at a point in my walk where I was hitting road blocks. I got so frustrated with everything I couldnt write. I was praying to the Lord for a word and he said ive been giving you a word you just havent been listening. He told me I want you to tell people streaight up about the drifti9ng away from my ways. How they no longer are focused on me. I want you to tell them how to wait upon me for a word until it hurts. I want you to warn them of the immoral practices in the church and in government. I told the Lord okay im sorry, I repent for not listening. Ill do what you tell me to do. That is how this song came about. It was in a time when I thought I had writers block., but in reality I was just not listening. I thank you Jesus for your precious Holy Spirit.
