Story behind the song
This song was based on my teenage years. The electric guitar is very smooth enhanced with Sustainer and a phaser effect. Vocal is very strong with echo effects.

Well, I'm hearing the dreaded distortion this time around. The general rule of thumb is to record so that when you play it back it's no more than -6 db, so you have headroom to mix, that applies to music and vocals. Your music sounds ok..it's your vocal that's distorted in spots. I think a re-recording of your vocals would be in order this time. Again, pan your backing vocals either left or right, give them more reverb than what you give your lead to give them space and depth, plus separation. There is a friend I help out a great deal..Kurt Lewis Neufer(http://www.soundclick.com/kurtlewisneufer)..we fight the fight with distortion constantly. :) But, at the same time, we have alot of fun..I've been helping him for around 3 years..and we do alot of collaborations with each other, mostly with me as the producing head, sometimes he's the producer. :) If you have the capabilities..especially with a strong energy song like this..place a compressor between you and what you'
