Story behind the song
This one started as an acoustic number by "Louise In Paris" - Bill's old duo with prolific San Francisco songwriter Doug Orton. (Where is Doug now? We need more of his music!) The idea was simple: We all have a little salesman inside, selling us on every temptation we face.
Lyrics
The Salesman never met me but he knows how to read me He knows what I want and he knows how to feed me I cry poor but he knows I can if I try No one is safe from the Salesman inside
