Just another singer/songwriter. I play all my own instruments (except drums) and record on a Boss BR1200CD standalone multi-track recorder
Just an old Back To The Land hippie that stuck to his plan.

Charlie,
I love the ride!! This is what blues at this tempo does to me.. I just kick back and enjoy the wonderful ride..Takes me back personally to my younger days when I played out and about. Very tastefully done and of course, "RIGHT ON"
in my book. I really enjoy the total feel of this song from the subtle beginning to the end..Even I can tell that you had a blast doing it.. I know I would!!!

I'm Pleased i got invited to have a listen to THE BLUE. I love the guitar playing, in this day and age of sweep picking, shredding, and whatever it's pleasing to hear a clean melodic bluesy style like this, it's hard sometimes to make a blues song sound interesting, melodic, and humorous but THE BLUE does it for me. I love the the whole thing.

Great tune, Charlie!!! Really nice in all aspects!!!
Enjoy the very nice moments in your studio! Nothing better that after a session, be in front a fire place and drink some wine or hot chocolate :)
Here at South, we have to drink a very cold lemonade. Really warm weather.
The very best wishes from the South hemisphere!

You sure nailed this one Pine! The lyrics say it all, all musicians playing bars know this is the truth and the atmosphere is exactly as you describe it in this cool smokey song, the funny thing is bars always seem to be the best places to play if at little rough at times LOL!! You made a great job of this and it's good to hear a new Pinedog song and I hope you enjoyed getting creative again, so glad you shared this with us on S/click, hope we'll hear more this winter & added to our station, a big thumbsup! Paul will no doubt be along later to listen in. This track started my day off in style, thank you!!

nice...cool jazzy/blues!! haha...fun lyrics too! nice bounce and just a fun song. i love the groove! and of course i love the kitty sound. kitties are the best...meow haha! i went to a pub a few weeks ago and there was a guy there playing his guitar with a drum machine...it made me think of all my musician friends hehehe. *in creepy voice* can i buy you a drink? hahaha
your vocals remind me of singer "Kenny Rogers"...recently i remembered a song he performs(well, it's the only one i actually know from him)...it's from a movie i like, i put it on my page. check it out if you get a chance, because maybe you would like it!
cheers to a cool tune~!
love n peace
You did it again mate, painted a real and vivid musical picture, well it's all there, the smoky atmosphere, all the characters, even the dog,you played really well on this Pine, all the instruments merge together perfectly is that a real bass?whatever, it's sounds spot on and cool, dig the little chord run down to take it home, not sure you'll get to read this as it's taken me about five years to do it,never mind it's timeless anyway.
