Story behind the song
I wanted to create a song that emoted my feeling of deception regarding the Civil War being fought to free the slaves. Actually, the Civil War was fought to restore the Union - freeing the Slaves entered the story one full year after the Civil War began. And then it was used as a military tactic to distract the South.
