the orphans of love were formed in the mid 1970's. They were a regular source of entertainment until 1978, and produced a 45rpm, under the auspices of Forty-Five Records, entitled "Orphans of Love", Your Money's No Good, and Quick 'n Slick, which was played for a while at KZAP, and other stations not necessarily in the area. Since that time, various original members of the band have gotten together at times and are still making original music in Sacramento. The record is still available.
