This a recording of the Tulasi Puja kirtan performed at the Chicago Krishna Temple, every morning at 4:30 am, after the Mangala Aratik ceremony. Tulasi is a sacred plant and is used in the worship of Radha & Krishna.
This kirtan arrangement was my interpretation of the Tulasi kirtan I heard and recorded at the Govindevji temple in Jaipur, India. They perform this kirtan every evening. I'm leading the kirtan and playing a Dolak - a wooden, 2 headed drum.
