Lake Fork Verne and his banjo. Original country and Americana songs. Songs of yesteryear, growing up during the great depression 1930's and the way things are
Just me and my banjo...writing and singing about how things used to be long ago in the 30;s and 40's and how those experiences affect today. I started out wanting to get on record these stories and songs for my grandchildren; but after doing it for a while, others have expresses interest so we are recording and putting them out there.

The Summit Years- Verne, your voice sounds more emotionally attached to the lyrics in this one. I picture you much more relaxed while playing and singing this. Like, your just really enjoying the song and words. Great job my friend! Hope your doing well!! I took a nose dive off the ladder while Christmas decorating and broke a few bones but I'm s-l-o-w-l-y getting mobility back! Such a bummer. I still am unable to type real well but I can still 'listen' to my ole friend VG and his bango!!! Merry Christmas, Rosie
