To all who have lost a love, only to find something they love more.
I am a small town country boy, who writes from the heart, and sings from the soul.
I am a singer/songwriter/musician. I write my own songs, record them, play all instrument parts, and add all vocals. I guess you could say, if something's not good, I can't blame anyone but myself...But, I wouldn't have it any other way. I like to be very involved in my own music, because I see it as a reflection of me, and I want that reflection to hold true to who I am.

Story behind the song
I was going through a divorce, while at the same time, reuniting with my old flame, and a stronger love...music. I realized as long as I had my songs, I didn't need her, anyway. What a feeling of mixed emotions...wait a minute...I wasn't supposed to feel "good" about the divorce...but I did.
Lyrics
It's been a year now, since we last touched. It's been longer than that, since I felt loved. Should I just stay here/should I say goodbye? Think I'll keep moving on...on down the line. And I'll sing my songs. And I'll move on along. And I'll give myself away. Day by day. We've been together now, for a long, long time. But for the love that's left, I wouldn't give a dime. And though I'll miss you, I wont miss those days. The way you treated me, and the games you played. So I'll sing my songs. And I'll move on along. And I'll give myself away. Day by day, by day, by day. Day by day It's been a while now, since I moved out to Nashville. I guess you probably dont think I'm doing too well. Well, I'm just playing my guitar, and making my living. And hanging out every night, with my buddies and wild women... 'Cause I sing my songs. And I move on along. And I give myself away. Day by day. Day by day, by day, by day. Day by day..... day by day
