Story behind the song
Years ago my second son--then just a 3-year-old--kept having ear aches at night, including Christmas Eve. This song was my attempt to capture the peace I felt as he finally relaxed and fell asleep in my arms, in the rocking chair, the room lit by our Christmas Tree.
