Story behind the song
its almost too blatantly destructive in tone to be romantic, but that was the original intent... i wrote the lyrics long ago (AND NO, I DONT SING... GOD, MY VOICE? BLAH!) about someone special, who has since moved on... i have too... after years off cathartic suffering... oh wait, we're suffering once more... anyhow, its just a verse-chorus-repeat type deal... but i really like the up and down appeal... and no, that last couplet wasnt meant to rhyme...
