Country/bluegrass tune Featuring Bill Jehle on banjo. Still unsure why Soundclick plays the hi-fi link at twice the speed though....

It's just me, a few guitars, some ideas and a little bit of effort.
Well, welcome to my little space on Soundclick. The following musical contributions are basically concept pieces that started off as ideas thanks to the Guitarist Recording Collective (Google for it) - A great site that encourages guitarists of all ages and abilities to create their own works. Nowadays, I play in a band, so I don't have as much time for recording as I would like to, but I would recommend to any musician who feels they are not progressing to start recording, and getting music out on the internet. You probably won't become famous or rich, but once you've done it, you might just be amazed at what you achieve!

Story behind the song
Another Collective task - the song grew from an acoustic picking excercies that I developed using open strings and pull-offs. Originally called "Roscoe P" until a fellow Collective contributor, Bill Jehle offered the "Daisy Duke" mix with added banjo. I liked it so much, I merged the two together with a 'bridge' to the final result, appropriately called "The Whole Hogg" (No, I'm not a bid Dukes of Hazard fan....) :-D
