Story behind the song
This song is about learning that you are about to die and the sudden and immediate impact of that on you and your relationships. Life suddenly becomes simpler in these circumstances and you have no difficulty seeing through the crap of everyday setbacks to the important things. At the end of the day we all want to be loved and to let those around us know that we love them. In the end that is all that matters and it is quite thought provoking when you think how little time we all spend in our normal lives looking after our loved ones.
My contribution to the song was the acoustic and electric guitar and the rest was either midi generated or real instrument tracks produced by Realband. Hope you enjoy the song despite the sombre subject matter.
