Elisha Zaporelostzi's first performances were the Open Stages put on by the Bytown Live in Ottawa Ontario, Canada. It is how Neil Young and Joni Mitchell started.
Phreap magazine is a one page thing that went around Ottawa in the 1980s. Now it is a web site;

With the help of Joe-Charly Smith, Molly Ding, Calhoon-Fred Febealie, and Butter Jones I was able to put out Phreap magazine.

Ah my friend, a very interesting and original song. I intend to listen to all of your songs, but I just had to comment on this one. A very nice arrangement that flows along with a catchy melody. Really enjoyed the video as well, what a lovely collection.
My sincere and very best wishes,
John.

Hi Patrick,
Stumbled on this gem mentioned on another message board and I had to come by and hear it. I learned something. Fascinating history of the song. Also Because was written because John was listening to YOKO play a piano classical piece (God I hope she plays better than she screeches er sings).
But he liked it and managed to invert the chords is how I have heard the story and thus came Because a real beautiful song. I also knew there was a girl claiming to be his daughter in germany. I think he did not admit paternity but did pay her something???

Neato Burrito. Funny, you don't look that old. We can't possibly have
one older than 1605. Nice lyrics, guess we'll have to nick some o' them. ~Lesley
Hello Patrick! :) I saw your post on Haley's board, and came to listen out of curiosity..to answer your question, yes, there is a baby crying at around 1:30, BUT it sounds like it belongs there, so I wouldn't take it down for that. This was really sweet, Patrick, laid back, and it really sounds like a lullabye..I listened twice. :) Have a good one. Kindest regards, Tammy :D
