This is an anthemic song of praise. It's one of my favorites, and would work well to close out a service.

Contemporary Praise and Worship
I started writing music in 1998. I started with congregational praise and worship music, but recently have been writing and arranging what I affectionately call "Neo-Classical Folk." Have a listen to see what I mean.

Story behind the song
This song was surprisingly difficult to write. The first verse and the chorus came to me at the same time, driving home one day from work. I sat down at the piano and couldn’t get them to jive. When I transitioned from the verse to the chorus it was too jarring and didn’t flow. Eventually I decided that they must be parts to two different songs. As my concert recording neared, however, I was playing with Paul Baloche’s I See the Lord. I had been wanting to write a song with an anthem feel to end the concert. I put this feel to both the verse and chorus of this song and, viola, it all came together. The bridge is written and recorded as two parts – a lead and a response. I have done this song in worship, however, without the response (no other singers with me) and it works just fine. This is one of my favorite songs, and I hope you enjoy it as well.
