Consider the pearl: the most unique jewel, it alone comes not from the ground; inside a shell fish it is found when a rock intrudes within the clam produces the substance that becomes a pearl... So long ago, into this "oyster" of a world, the Rock of Revelation found a place, and founded a chosen race. Through the faithful heart of a man, and the sons who followed Abraham, the rock of faith became the Pearl. Finally in time, the pearl had grown to such size, it became worth a king's ransom. So, the King of life and wisdom left His throne to become a slave for the pearl He'd come to save was the pearl of great price... CHORUS II You are that pearl of great price, worth more than His streets of gold the Lord Christ laid down His life just to make you His own, and never leave you alone.
