This track was recorded live at one of my performance art shows...totally improvised on the spot. Long before "Who's Line is It Anyway", a part of my performances used audience generated input for the 'lyrics' as part of the performance art piece. "Found" sources were available for the audience to chose from and handed to me to improvise off of, or generated directly from the audience themselves. One "found" source for this piece was a World Almanac and the other was a letter an audience member had with her in her purse from her grandmother. Word spread like wildfire about this performance and we incorporated "Walking" into Tent Sleep 4 shows. "Walking" first appeared on the "Area Sets" album.
