My vision is to inspire future generation to want to become the next Rashad Benjamin. Being raised in Chicago urban environment I had many negative and positive influences in my life. Nurturing the creativity inside, Marcus Garvey Elementary school exposed me to classical music, fine arts, and theater at the age of five. At the age of nine I started expressing my feelings, thoughts, and ideas, through writing songs and rap lyrics. Ten years ago the beat only played in my brain I would never had imagine that it would be possible for my childhood love and passion to be shared with the world. Music plays a major role in life, society, and culture: it can also affect your spirit, soul, and mind. Your favorite songs are always the ones you can most relate with. I want to create music that everyone can relate to. One of the hardest parts of becoming an artist is being placed in a category when there are so many concepts and themes I would like to explore. âœAnybodyâs Musicâ, is my own theme or approach to making music that almost anybody can enjoy. Anybodyâs Music is a crossover sound between rap, hip-hop, punk, rock, R&B, Soul, Gospelââ. Life is similar to a movie and our music preference is the soundtrack. Everyone is born with a purpose I believe my purpose is to share my unique style with the world. Music, image, and stereotypes all go hand and hand but no two people are the same. Every individual on earth is different that is what make us individuals. Through my music I want people to feel that it is alright to be different and to be proud of who they are and where they come from. By crossing over and working with different types of artist I hope to expose listeners of rock, punk, hip-hop, rap, and R&B, to sounds and collaboration that they do not normally hear together.
