Story behind the song
well i know you'd find this hard to believe that i'm not a musician, heck i don't even live on planet earth(its impossible to)but how we all like to think we can try. house of the rising son...house of the rising sun....burton seemed to be a guy like us who just wanted to rock and roll and speak his mind thru his offerings...back then we wanted guys like him of this ''my generation'' addiction to be the ones who'd just did it in a new way that was never heard before mind exspansion giving the old dogs afew unexplained twists on the nose .and just before dog begun to snarl, the music then did soothe the savage beast...again! good or bad i done this song because i wondered why the ''fridged~pink''chose to one hit wonder it on top 40 progressive rock radio. i don't think theres one guitarist alive who hasn't done this because of how easy it was to do.i used a really old midi guitar on this rendition to see if i could spook it alittle and i thought to sing it like a troubled youngman in a churchy way trying to save others from his prison trip from sin and misery.
