Jeff's music, at its very core, is a tale of emotions. A song, with all of its technical underpinnings, should tell a story or display a feeling. It should connect with the listener deep in their heart. And that can only be done if the song is deep within the writer's heart as well.

Story behind the song
This song is about a wandering fellow who finds much joy in traveling to desolate, far away places that seem very remote and uninhabitable...yet he finds it to be just like a home. He appreciates the natural beauty in these landscapes, and uses this as an escape from whatever life he may have back in the real world.
Lyrics
When the wind blows, it will take me To far away cliffs, and quiet cities And up on the hills The zephyr will cleanse A thousand points of guilt I look to the clouds Their pale luminescence And I scream so loud, "What is a place, we call home?" ("Is this place, something more?") When the wind blows, it will take me To uncharted lands, and ancient cities I look to the streets So empty, abused Yet, they are so kind to me I've gone so far out Yet, close to my heart And I scream so loud, "What is a place, we call home?" ("Is this place, something more?") Let the wind Take your side Let the earth Hold your might Let the clouds Lift your eyes Let the moon Shine through night
