monsterpop is my solo recording project. ive recently upgraded to Pro Tools/MBox2 from my trusty wee red Fostex Mr8. Its been great fun so far, but frustrating due to my lack of knowledge of this system, but im getting there;-) I put myself in the powerpop genre. Most songs i do would be covered by that id say, but i have no set way of writing. so if i come up with something odd,so be it;-) i hope you find something you like. JimmyD

Story behind the song

I decided to try and do something with samples for the first time
(apart from drum loops  of course)and this is the result!
at first i planned to only use samples to create a tune, 
but in the end, the musician part of me wouldnt allow it,
 so i added some guitar and bass parts in the end!
