Here's my blog!!! Enjoy the read!!! http://closer-than-your-heartbeat.blogspot.com/ Hey, y'all! I've found CCLI to be a very useful tool. And it's the only way songwriters are paid by churches for their loving labor:) (and, yes, churches are trusted to record which songs are used!!!!) I'd like to encourage my songwriting friends to join CCLI and keep the records up-to-date...the songs I've received royalties for were not my favorite songs...or voted most likely to succeed!!! They are simple songs of faith!!! Your reward in Heaven will be great...yes...the scripture does say that... but it also says something about being worthy of your hire!!! It's ok to receive cents/per song/per use...it's ok to reCEIVE that blessing!!!! CCLI's Vision: To establish a strong communication network serving the Body of Christ, which enables the dispensing of comprehensive and valuable informational, inspirational resources, both primary and secondary in origination. CCLI's Mission Statement: To encourage the spirit of worship through music to the local church collectively and to Christians individually, so that they may enhance their worship expression spontaneously, conveniently, affordably, and legally. Here are some songs I have listed with CCLI...the lyrics are available through CCLI. I am working on posting all of these songs here on shoutlife. www.ccli.com Arise And Shine (c)2006 Eva J. Lyrics
Baby curls have grown into pigtales Her toothless grin shines a pearly white Coos and cries are slowly forgotten Lullabies are drifting in the night You gotta stop and smell the roses Tickle those little toes Soak in those mem'ries for awhile Go ahead and hug 'em Tell 'em that you love 'em Treasure the sweetest of times 'Cause we're not promised tomorrow or today All we can hold onto are the moments we embrace "Baby girl" becomes "little lady" That pastel pink is fading away Baby dolls are all being traded For wedding bells and antique lace through the years her life may change but one thing still remains these lessons of life – she holds tight
