This song is about making love at dusk, on a blanket, in the beautiful foothills of the Catalina Mountains, high above the Tucson Valley... when we were young...and young at heart.

Story behind the song
This song was written to my sweet wife, Janet, to whom I have been married to for 30 plus years. It is a true story, immortalizing a beautiful evening we spent in the foothills of the Catalina Mountains, overlooking the Tucson valley below. We had left Tucson, and moved back to Columbia, Mo. The song was written on a cold Missouri winter evening as a gentle snow fell outside, and I remembered this beautiful moment in our lives, when we were young, and resided in Tucson.
Lyrics
Do you remember when summer came calling,
And we made love out in the desert there,
Do you remember the amber of the valley my darling,
When summer was blowing through your hair.
But now the snow outside is softly falling,
And memories of far away are near,
How I'd love to be home near the mountains my darling,
And watch the summer just blowing through your hair.
But Old Man Time how quickly he passes,
Like raindrops falling in the desert air,
But my darling I'll always remember,
When summer was blowing through your hair.
A beautiful song, lovely vocal and guitar arangement. Love Hayley
