God’s Word is Alive Verse I am here to spread the message So open up your heart You must give your heart to Jesus Today’s the day to start I am nothing but a witness For the greatest lord of all I know it sounds outrageous But it’s you He wants to call Chorus God’s word is alive; forever it lives In order to thrive, God’s grace must forgive God’s word is alive, it never was dead For us to survive we need to be fed Verse Can’t keep this news a secret Can’t keep it tucked away I hope that you’ll believe it When I come to you and say That it’s you that Jesus died for He wants you by His side No matter if you’re rich or poor Eternal life He’ll provide Chorus God’s word is alive; forever it lives In order to thrive, God’s grace must forgive God’s word is alive, it never was dead For us to survive we need to be fed Verse So let’s take the words of Jesus Go and feed the world We must hope that they believe us Cuz Jesus is the cure The troubles that surround them The pain that they endure They must turn their hearts to Jesus It is then they will be sure, that Chorus God’s word is alive; forever it lives In order to thrive, God’s grace must forgive God’s word is alive, it never was dead For us to survive we need to be fed Copyright ©2008 Marvin H Lane
